About the role
PeakCommerce helps subscription businesses execute revenue across storefronts, portals, payment pages, and conversational and agentic commerce — connected natively to billing systems like Zuora, Stripe, Maxio, and Salesforce Revenue Cloud. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be the technical partner in the sales process, showing prospects how our platform maps to their billing setup and subscription models.
What you'll do
- Partner with account executives to understand each prospect's billing stack, subscription models, and commerce goals.
- Run technical demos and proofs of concept that show how PeakCommerce reads from a customer's Zuora, Stripe, or Maxio catalog and pricing.
- Scope integrations and answer technical questions about catalog sync, amendments, and provisioning during evaluations.
- Translate prospect requirements into clear handoffs for implementation and feed recurring patterns back to product.
- Build reusable demo environments and technical collateral that make the sales motion faster.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or implementation role for a technical B2B SaaS product.
- Solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, and how systems integrate — enough to speak credibly with technical buyers.
- Familiarity with subscription billing or commerce concepts (rate plans, proration, usage-based pricing) or the ability to ramp quickly.
- Strong communication skills — you can move between a developer's questions and an executive's priorities in the same call.
- Bonus: hands-on experience with Zuora, Stripe Billing, Maxio, or Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
